What's Up? (by 4 Non Blondes)
Jane Doe
This is my first fully-realized short film, that I wrote, directed and starred in. Jane Doe explores what happens to a woman who is perpetually haunted by an abusive relationship, and to continue to survive, must abandon society in pursuit of freedom. I am currently in the editing process and it will be premiered May 8th at AGBO Studios.
The Importance of Being Earnest
I was Gwendoline in Oscar Wilde’s whit-driven comedy The Importance of Being Earnest in the thesis production of my MFA career. It was produced last the Boston Court in Pasadena.
I was the lead of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Adly Guirgis as I embark on my final year as a MFA Acting candidate at the University of South California. I play Fabiana Aziza Cunningham - the defense attorney fighting to redeem Judas’ allegedly betrayal of Jesus Christ, and most likely, for her own redemption.
I was directed by Kate Burton in Williams Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale. I played Paulina (lead), who is the only person who ricks everything to take matter’s into her own hands, calls the jealousy and righteous king out in front of the entire court, sees those for who they really are, and uses her love and devotion to restore the royal family to their former glory.
The Kirk Douglas
I was on stage at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Cuban-American playwright, María Irene Fornés’ play The Conduct of Life. I portrayed Olimpia (lead) in her most critically acclaimed work - a powerful and disturbing story that brings together politics, gender, and sexuality to show how forms of national and domestic violence often exist in direct relationship to one another. Fornes’ pointed dialogue examines the pace by which we, as a society, become desensitized to violence.
Ojai Playwrights Conference
I was an Intern at the Ojai Playwrights Conference where I am directly collaborating with a diverse set of artists from around the country; workshopping new works and creating some of my own.
MFA at USC
I was accepted to graduate school to pursue my Masters of Fine Arts in acting at the University of South California. Class of 2024.
